THE EXPERIENCE

Mongkok means “busy corner” in Cantonese and it is exactly that. In a city that is famous for its hustle and bustle, Mongkok is the centre of it all. Officially having the world’s highest population density, Mongkok is jam packed with restaurants, shops and markets. With so much choice it can be hard to know where to start. Join us on this food tour to squeeze through the Hong Kong crowds and let us show you the best places to eat. Our foodie guides will take you to indulge in everything from street snacks to a highly reviewed contemporary Dim Sum restaurant.

THE FOOD

Dim Sum: This innovative restaurant has all your traditional favourites plus some more contemporary choices. Highly reviewed and simply delicious.

Roast Goose: Succulent goose with crispy skin and plum sauce from this goose speciality restaurant that is more than 50 years old.

Snake Soup: It’s true, it does taste like chicken. This tasty meaty soup is full of health benefits. You might try it for the novelty of snake, but it is the flavour of the soup that you will be impressed by. Always a favourite!

Dao Fu Fa (Sweet Tofu Dessert): Silky smooth soft tofu in a sweet syrup. This eatery does not look like much but is a favourite of some famous chefs.

Egg Tart: Warm egg tart from a family run bakery in the heart of a bustling market.

Street Snacks: If you have been to Hong Kong before you would have seen these busy corner shops selling all sorts of skewers, but probably didn't know what they are and where it is safe to try. Try some local street snacks with us!

Glutinous Rice Pastry: Try pan fried glutinous rice red bean pastry from a traditional family run Chinese bakery. Started in the 1950s this bakery is a favourite with locals.

Matcha and Red Bean Smoothie: Who doesn't love a smoothie? Try this contemporary Hong Kong twist with unique asian flavours.
